Ask a QuestionLive Virtual Classroom Training
All of our public Train the Trainer courses in Galway are delivered in our live virtual classroom format.
This means that you will get the same live, trainer-led experience as you would with an in-person classroom. You will be able to ask questions, take part in discussions and group exercises, and gain feedback from your trainer.
Connecting to this style of online training is easy. We will make sure you have all of the information and support you need to join your training session easily.
Here are the only resources you need:
- a solid internet connection. Almost all home internet connections will work here, but if you’re unsure, check that your broadband has a capacity of c. +5Mps.
- a device – smartphone, tablet, or computer – that can connect to the internet. This device needs to have a web-camera, microphone, and speakers. Most internet-enabled devices will have these 3 things.
Getting Certified
There is assessment work associated with achieving your Train the Trainer certification, no matter which course you choose. Here is a quick look at the assessments involved in each course:

QQI Training Delivery & Evaluation
A skills demonstration (short training session) on the final day of training + two written assessments in the 8 weeks following training.

QQI Training Needs Identification & Design
3 written assessments in the 8 weeks following training.

QQI Special Purpose Award in Training & Development
To achieve this Special Purpose Award, you will need to successfully complete all assessments in both courses mentioned above.
However, you can take a break of several months between each course in order to focus on each set of assessments in turn.
