Delivery Style
Our Training Delivery and Evaluation Course is available for both public and in-company delivery.
Public Courses
Public courses are open for anyone to attend. They have scheduled dates at least once a month throughout the year.
These courses are delivered in a live virtual classroom style. This means that you can benefit from an “in-person” experience while connecting online.
Our live virtual classroom learning environment enables you to connect to real-time training, where you can interact with your trainer and fellow trainees.
In-Company Courses
We run Train the Trainer courses for clients all over Ireland. In-company training (where we deliver training exclusively to participants from a single organisation) is beneficial for businesses of all sizes.

As we mentioned above, this programme leads to a QQI Level 6 award in Training Delivery and Evaluation.

- It is placed at level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

- It is worth 15 credits towards a major award.
- Training Delivery and Evaluation is one of two awards that were designed to replace the de-activated FETAC Train the Trainer certification. The other is Training Needs Identification and Design.
Achieving Your Award
In order to gain this award, you need to combine 3 elements:

Attend our 4-day course
The course runs over two weeks, with days 1 and 2 in the first week and days 3 and 4 in the second week. Each training day begins at 9.30am and finishes at 5.00pm.

Carry out self-directed learning following training
This refers to further reading, research, and study you carry out following training. This often feeds into your assessment work preparation.

Complete and pass the required assessment work
You will have 8 weeks from the last date of training to complete and submit your assessment work.
Your assessment is comprised of 3 parts:
– a skills demonstration, which takes place on Day 4 of the course
– a written project
– a written learner recordWe will provide you with robust assessment supports, including a detailed assessment brief, guidance from your trainer, and supporting documents.

What is Training Delivery and Evaluation?

What Certification Will I Achieve?
When you complete this training course and pass the relevant assessments, you will achieve a QQI (previously FETAC) Level 6 certificate in Training Delivery and Evaluation.
This certificate is placed on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and recognised by employers all over Ireland.

How Do I Achieve My Certification?
You must attend all days of the Training Delivery and Evaluation course and successfully complete assessment work to gain your certification.
This includes a skills demonstration on the last day of training and 2 written assessments that must be submitted 8 weeks after completion of your course.

No previous experience is needed for this course.
We recommend that you are comfortable using Zoom and PowerPoint, but will provide you with tips on both when attending the course.
