Over 4 days, you will learn important techniques for delivering impactful training and how to use different methods of evaluating your programme’s effectiveness.
QQI Training Needs Identification & Design
3 Days – QQI Level 6 – Award Code: 6N3325
Also a great starting point, Training Needs Identification & Design is the perfect partner to Training Delivery & Evaluation.
During the 3 days of this course, you will learn how to carry out a training needs analysis (TNA). You will also learn how to use the findings from your TNA to design the right training for your trainees.
QQI Special Purpose Award in Training & Development
7 Days – QQI Level 6 – Award Code: 6S3372
You can decide to go for this award, even after you have completed one of the courses above.
By completing both of the above courses and their assessments successfully, you will automatically achieve the QQI Special Purpose Award in Training & Development.

How Does Live Virtual Training Work?
You can connect with our live online training easily. It’s like attending a classroom-based course, except you stay in the comfort of your own home.
- Once you confirm your place, we’ll make sure you have all the information you need to connect to the training.
- Our virtual training platform is easy to use. You shouldn’t need any extra equipment for this style of training.
- You’ll need a good broadband internet connection. You can check your internet connection by Google searching broadband speed test (a capacity of c. +5Mps. Is required. This is standard for most home internet connections).
- You’ll also need a web camera, microphone, and speakers. These are standard in almost all smartphones, computers, and tablets.
To achieve your Train the Trainer certification, you will need to successfully complete the relevant assessments for your chosen course.

Training Delivery & Evaluation
The assessments for this course consist of a skills demonstration (15-minute mini training session) on Day 4 of training and two written assessments completed in the 8 weeks following the course.
Training Needs Identification & Design
This course has 3 written assessments, which you will complete in the 8 weeks following training.
Special Purpose Award in Training & Development
The assessments for this award are made up of both of the above courses combined. The good news is that you don’t have to complete them all at the same time.
You can complete one course and its assessments, take a break of several months, and then complete the second when you are ready.
